No that's only on multiplexed. On a pre plexed you need to get the mileage changed unfortunately.

Or just make a note of the old mileage and put up with having a different one.

Dodgernator was right. You need a pre plexed one with a similar mileage. If there's a large difference in mileage when you fit your replacement you'll have to write the current mileage on the back of the new speedo to apply with the law.

Well just brought another cluster off eBay they say it has 100k and something on it. Just going to have to deal with it i guess as the petrol gauge has stopped working too :). How should I go about this? I know how to remove it etc so shouldi just write on the back the original mileage and date along with the mileage from the new cluster? So that I can work out the correct mileage if I was to sell it?

Its an old 206 & there worth sod all on the 2nd hand market now, no one will really give a stuff what the mileage is.

You can swop something over from the old cluster to the replacement to keep the correct mileage on the non plexed 206's BUT i've never done one & no idea what bit you need to swop.

At the bottom lee mentions the part needed to keep your original mileage. If that helps.
