Anyone had this before and what did you do to fix it?

It's a 1.4 Hdi ....

Going to try it again later but this was from my Sealey code reader as I couldn't get PP2000 to work this morning ...

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.

Update: Tested again with PP2000 and it looks like a relay may have died. On testing I can only hear one operating ...

I'll take the covers off at the weekend and see what's what ...

Also getting a intermittent error on a clutch pedal switch .... what is that???

P0382 is back and it depends on the system you use or website to read as to the answer ...

Normally most sites the Glow plug circuit as I first posted in this thread, but using PP2000 and my note book seems to suggest the EGR valve ...

So ... any bets on which one?

Anyone had any problems with glow plug circuit B on a 1.4 hdi and can tell me what they did to fix it Question

It's now stuck in limp mode so can't use the car ... and need to try and pinpoint something to start with.

Control Box?

Wiring?

I think the relays are OK as I can here them activate with PP2000.

OK, replaced the Glow Plug Controller Unit (5981-38) for the modest price of £54.73 from Peugeot dealer. This was comparable or even cheaper than some replacements from ebay and other suppliers.

All codes now cleared and eml switched off and running properly now.

And 15 months later .. P0382 is back and permanent.

Not in limp mode though .. back in July 2013 that was a red-herring as my Cat had also collapsed, so lack of power was down to exhaust being blocked, not glow plugs ... bit P*ssed it has only lasted 15 months though ... may have words with my Peugeot dealer tomorrow!
