I always thought the best oil for my 206 (2002, 1.1) was Total quartz 9000, I just checked on their website as I couldn't remember if it was 5w30 or 5w40(found the old bottle and it's this one) but now it recommends "QUARTZ INEO ECS 5W-30", I assume the 9000 5w40 is still ok to use???
Also, the same is recommended for the 207(1.4, 2007, 16v), would the 9000 5w40 be ok in this too, it's currently got halfords crap going round it???

wait....which 1.4 engine do you refer to for the 207?
the EP3 engine it is not recommanded to use 10w40 or 5w/40; only use 5w30 or 0w30
ET3 is fine for both
