right iknow this has been covered many times but i just cant seem to figure out what is wrong when wiring up my lights i can only get my side lights & my full beams to work but not my dipped. i have pictures of the wiring.

explain to me your wires! Smile

morettes are simple to wire in
the passenger requires a power and earth and the drivers one requires just an earth!

Simples!!

Pic one, see the yellow cable doing nothing, add some wire to it and earth it

Pic 2 see the yellow cable doing nothing add some cable to it and earth it, also see the cable with a ring on it give it some power! Smile

Thats why they didnt work! because you only wired in the ones stated!

i just plugged in all the connectors into where i unplugged my old ones from also the cable with the ring on it i though that was meant to be earthed. first time changing lights and new to all this so thanks for help Smile

ok so never managed to get them done beacuse i was called into work untill about 6ish then it started raining ahhh. ohwell there is always tonight.

I drove with mine at night with Osram cool blue intense, was not that great thought.. Stuck the crystals back on :), H.I.D Kit on the morette dipped beams are far better IMO

Have you checked if your fuses hasn't blown? I had that problem with my angels i couldn't get the dipped beam to work from the main connector,but after checking the fuses couple months later on i realised i've blown the fuse of my dipped beam so i replaced it and got it to work.
Check your fuse box in the engine bay compartment and look for the dipped beam fuse which should state in your drivers manual,or there is a picture somewhere on 206info can't remember which thread though.

It didnt work because he forgot to connect all the wires up Smile
