well my golf has now gone so have a new project

A BMW E30 318i lux with a 325i 6cylinder heart Smile and rear drive at the end

the only mods so far are lowerd and drilled and grooved front discs

it has been look after very well but does have a few problems i.e.
sunroof dont work
electric mirrors dont work
digital clock dont work
front wheels not balanced
front pads are low
rear wishbone bushes
new n/s passenger door

so not a bad list to be wrong XD

plans so far are:
- new exhaust back box
- new stainless steel mani
- polished inlet mani
- ht leads
- super 4 plugs
- air filter of some kind
- a full oil change diff, gearbox, engine, power steering, water
- fix the sunroof
- fix the mirrors
- touch up a few pant parts
- 325i diff reconed
- poly bush the whole suspension
- new struts and springs
- possible new seats
- hid lights
- and what ever else brakes or is worn really

so hopefully good plans and make it a bit of fun.

im sure people will read that list a say its pointless its an old banger my answer go buy a decent one and try it! for those who have and hate it whats wrong with you! lol

few pictures

i know people will slate it but i dont really care it may not be as fast a 206 gti or a golf turbo but my god is it a proper car to drive. it feels connected and not like cars that have been modified its so different.

i will say opinions but they will probably be dismissed if they are rude or annoying lol

looks smart, had one years ago with cut springs it was terrible to drive but that was due to the suspention.

e30 has to be the best shape but watch for over heating as they tend to run hot! Get the diff welded up and it will be a drift wepon

What you need is a 325i sport diff Wink slightly different ratio and LSD... Had a 320i loon with one, drift weapon Razz

Nice colour will be a b***h to keep clean (have also had a 316 in white :P) Watch out for rust around the front jacking points and check them fuses, iirc f20 will blow about once every 6-12months runs the fuel pump carry a spare for it Wink change the digital clock for the analogue one looks way better, are the wheels genuine alpina's or reps?
