Hi again. Only got the 1.4 Hdi van last week and while driving there was a small beep from the dash area followed by the management light coming on and the engine revving up to 3000rpm and down a couple of times by its on accord and then back to normal. The light is still on but performance is still ok with it repeating this problem again once more the following day. Its going on the diagnostic machine on Fri but just wondered if anyone has any ideas. Cheers.

No ideas mate it would be like p**sing in the wind to guess. Diagnostics will let you know for sure

Took the car to the lads at Pug Parts in Rotherham this morning and they stuck it on their diagnostic computer. The result was the fly by wire accelerator peddle was on its way out. £45 and half hour later and jobs a good un, peddle replaced, fault codes sorted and I'm a happy man again.

Its done 120,000 mate and its a 03 plate. Bodywork is ok, a few dints here and there but drives bang on with a sweet engine !
