Hi, had a new clutch kit installed and got told the clutch is not releasing, with the pedal fully pressed still a slight bite.
Already had a clutch cylinder replaced, are there 2 in the car?
Clutch is complete kit from sachs and flywheel should also have been inspected.

Any help on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

clutch

Is it fully bled? Ie the slave cylinder, and no you just have the slave cylinder located on the side of the box

Was the release arm damaged in any way? Pressure plate fitted correct way round?

as above, sometimes if the slave cylinder isnt clamped off when its disconnected from gearbox the piston can pop past the seal. not always doing permenant damage but would deffo need re bleeding. is there any free play/ adjustment on the pedal/push rod itself? ie getting full pedal travel. may not a clutch master cylinder issue if it was fine before the clutch being fitted...

Thanks for the help!
The cylinder was replaced and they bled it too. I'll check on monday for full travel in the pedal and the release arm, although all was fine before the clutch replacement

Was also checking if the components in the kit matched up on webcat.zf.com/ but could not find anything wrong (garage are running out of ideas too)

Will post if i can find anything
