Okay may not strictly be a 206 but Razz

so it begins on the 21st july 2012 my 21st birthday i had been debating a new car for some time, i was debating a scooby, focus ST, EVO 7,8,9 and the 207 gti.

After almost a year of working 14 hour days saving as much as I can

Had to go for the subaru as its been my childhood dream to own one!

so as it goes this is the day i picked her up

when i initially got the car i told myself i would spend any money on parts but didnt last long, a week of ownership i took a trip down to my local specialist
and brought a couple of parts

1st thing to be fitted was the side STI sticker

next up was some mats

And then was a very manly pink badge Razz

Then i gave the front splitter i spray of gloss black makes a world of difference

As we are now heading into winter i decided to give it a fresh covering of Dodo juice wax

Managed to hit abit of a problem late at night sorting out the engine bay
in trying to replace all the rustly nuts and bolts 1 happend to snap typically being a very important one that holds the rad put Sad

so out comes the tooling 10pm at night sorry neighbours Razz

After that was finished i spent the weekend cleaning the entire bay painting all the rusty parts, removing the road grime from the intercooler and polishing up the shiny bits Smile

last but not least i decided to move the horns from there original location from behind the bumper to in front of the grill

I totally agree with you. However they are still great drivers cars IMO. An Evo is one of my childhood dream cars but they are such money pits. I know my mate has had two and works at a specialist garage. However maybe I am being a bit of a hypocrite; I bought an old school Hilux that I have always wanted, I just spent over £1000 to rebuild the engine. Besides the modifications.

What a stupid comment!!! Too much to keep running u can't hate a car because off that if u caint afford one don't buy one.

Everyone who drives one drives like a complete c**k. How long did it take u to travel the world and meet every single person who owns one?

And if u look at his other posts regarding stone chips I will think u find he take a lot off pride in looking after it and doesn't drive like a c**k.

Nice car mate keep up the good work Smile

I agree , ive owned a few classic turbo and they are great car! tho a little thirsty but it you got the money who cares.

The exhaust are all part of it and would it not be right without a big pipe, some people get a little gel as they only have a 206

keep up the good work

I'm not saying there are cheap to run but on an average week I'm spending about an extra £35 on fuel over my 180 I used tesco 99 in that as well, and in my opinion that's not bad,

I drive mine like a old lady I care to much about my driving licence to get to my location 2 mins quicker and don't want to crash my pride and joy just to just prove the car can do 80 in a 60 or 50 in a 30 which some people do! Sickens me to see!

There are a few scooby owners that think the McRae!

As the exhaust it's the cars sale point for most it's the sound of the engine that makes the drivers enjoy them so much!

I now changed all the bolts I wanted to, If I ever get bored enough I will paint my front subframe as its all flaking I know you can't see it but its bugging me, but I know bolts will snap and cause no end of pain

Thank you :), i can understand maby what you mean about the boring part, you dont get any excitment like i used to in my 180 maby its due to the sheer grip in the scoob, lucky for me someone down the road to me owns a farm and he allows me to drive down the tarmac lanes 3 miles of windy private road, and some corners in my 180 i would take at 45 and be terrified but i can take most corners at 70+ and have no fear Sad

the older classic scoobs give the fun of a 180 but most are knackerd nowdays or chaved to death as said when you got it the 4x4 does take some getting used too but when you do boy is it fun Laughing the newer ones like yours are nice but for me maybe just a bit to refined.
