I was wondering if someone could help me....
When I/m driving along...there's a rattling noise coming from the back of the car and sounds like the boots open...so when I pull over and double check, its closed but when looking in the boot, it seems that a piece of plastic is missing from the back :/ cold someone tell me if this is the case? I'll get a picture when its stopped raining.

The boot catch thing attached to the car may be worn. A quick fix is wrap it in tape or get a new one.

try undoing the two bolts either side of the catch plate and sliding the plate back a few mm, then tighten the bolts up and the boot lid should shut down tighter.

SEARCH. there's loads of threads on this, quick and easy fix is wrap some insulation tape round the pin so it had more to grip to.
