I think someone ages ago tried to get a custom one made but was going to cost over £100.
My suggestion is to unclip the bottom hose off the rad flush the rad out with water then find out how much liquid should be in your cooling system, make up the desired strength, then fill it up and and you should have the right amount, if you have a touch if you shine it on the side of the tank at night you can JUST about see the water level it's a s**t design i know.

Yes they are.

Just shine a torch into the reservoir. If you can see the water level it's fine.

should have known you two oldies would have a moan Rolling Eyes Laughing

was nothing to do with being lazy? i just wanted to know if it is ment to be transparent?

undo the cap and have a look inside? and how does one do that mr bsi when all i see is the neck of the the tank

and if i did see coolant when opening the cap i would worry as the max level is below the neck (as im sure you know)

therefore its is impossible to simply undo the cap to check the level is correct

didnt think to use a torch, i shall try this.

thanks Very Happy

Squeeze the hose and the coolant will move. If you are a little above the max it will be fine. You need to look into the reservoir from an angle.
