Lads needing a bit of help just fitted 60mm lowering springs to the front of my car they were apex ones but after fitting them the ride height has not changed at all only to find out they were for a 2.0hdi this meaning my car ain't heavy enough for the springs.... Can anyone tell me the correct set of springs to fit to notice a considerable difference?

Which model do you have then? ...New springs will also need to settle a bit.

Sorry for the delay its a 1.1 just need it lowered to the height that I want for it to be complete really... Iv ordered 35mm springs and plan on cutting a coil off to see how it sits that way but if anyone has bought springs without going down the coil over route would be much appreciated

When you get your springs you'll realise cutting a coil off is easy but it wont sit on the damper properly.

It will if its cut in the correct place done it to my old corsa and boy in the work has done it a good few times to his previous cars just a bit of fun aswell

Unlikely that Corsa and 206 springs are the same. I think the 206 has the bottom coil bent out to fit into the lower spring plate and stop it rotating ... So if you cut the lower coil off it will not have anything to stop it unless you can reshape the spring ...

There totally different mate but same principle. The stop for the spring is on the strut seat itself Illl figure something out and make it work I found 60mm springs online aswell now incase shithitsthe fan ill take picturesque post on here of end result doing it on Saturday
