The material used is the same stuff as the interior, but due to the age of the seats and the age of the pillar covers, the colour will look different due to the fading (seats).
Matt talk to me if you want your C-Pillars and rooflining done... I've done my C-Pillars and to say that they are a pain in the dairy air to do is an understatement. £50 a metre for alcantara is cheap. The going rate is usually between £75-90. But you only need a metre to do both c-pillars.

been a few weeks since much was done to the pug, thought some more carbon look interior trim was required, managed to get these off ebay and sent to Garnish for more of their treatment
here's the end result, next on the list for this treatment is the centre console

recently had more interior trims dipped in a carbon look effect so quickly got round to getting them fitted
will be getting the centre console done in the same finish and now have a set of sp arches which after fcs will be sprayed/fitted then I can send my spare dash display surround to Edge Automotive to have trimmed in black alcantara with red stitching

Well I guess you can't really call it an update but while the car was in having it's rear pads fitted I used my bro's 180 to check the size of the alloy wheel bolts.
Having done that I ordered a set of black wheel nut covers and decided today to fit them, hit a problem right away, they were too small
got the wheel brace and checked it, thought it was really weird because even the 21mm wasn't big enough, just on the off chance I used the tweezers and found that the previous owner off here had fitted chrome wheel nut covers, having realised that they were all replaced.
Also managed to remove the bolts for the old factory car mats so now the new mats when I get them will sit flat.
Should have my sp arche sprayed in 3 weeks then once the bonnet and wings are sprayed they'll be fitted

Cars looking great Matt,
I'm usually funny about fake carbon but dipping really has altered my opinion! How much do they charge at garnish to coat stuff because if it isn't killer I'd get my mirror caps done ect lol.

Cheers Jamie, the carbon dipping wasn't too bad, the vents and the grab handles were about £65 delivered, but I bought the parts off ebay rather than having the 180's covered. I was going for carbon wrap but wanted to try this dipping and preferred it more. Once the centre console is done that'll be the interior parts done. Try kam racing bud, they got a set of proper carbon fibre mirror caps for probably the same price to be dipped

Ah cheers that's not a bad price really, I think I'll have to have a proper think on it, I've seen some cheap CF mirror caps but if I get my morettes dipped I'd have to get the mirror caps to match really or it will look odd lol

haha very true, would have to ensure they lacquer the morette cases really well as I noticed with my interior parts they do scratch quite easily

well it's come to that time where the 180 has had another biggish update, have finally fitted the sp arches, reckon the wings have been rolled or something because they were a right pain in the a**e to fit!!
gave her a quick clean and took a few quick pics so apologies for the poor quality/light of them
Next up is the roof rails colour coded and the engine cover sprayed flamenco red
