hi, i have a pug 206 gti and its been a project of mine for about 5 years to get it up to a standard i would call mine! but now i fancy a quick shift. dunno where to go for the right parts, or go about fitting it. ive pretty much done everything else to the car i can think of. so any help would be greatly appreciated Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

no idea about the quick sfift but upload some pics of your car lets see how it looks at "your standard"

Depending on the car I wouldn't bother... If its a 1.6 and above with some oomph behind it than yeah because if you set it up right you can have gear shifts at the flick of a finger like I had on my old XSi.

Griffith's quickshift was absolutely worth every penny for both mine and the Mrs. 206 and they're only 1.4i's.
Just makes it a hell of a lot easier not to have to 'row' in traffic as well as normal use, and to press the clutch for less time when changing gears.
You have to tweak it after fitting a couple times to get it just right.

I would give it 10/10 even though I am an OEM-man normaly.

I've got a compbrake one on mine and its been a f*cking nightmare to get it right. I've had the housing machined, the collar machined and had to use ss tubing to get it to work right. But, now its all done I wouldnt be without it. Its heavy but precise.
This 206 IS going on a trackday despite it's every effort to stay at home in the garage!

I have one of these to. It's a right pain to set up fair play!
