Got a fault with the GTi involving the ABS, was driving along the other morning and the light just came on with ABS fault on the MFD. Plugged PP in and it just said Front Left wheel sensor - Coherence. Not had chance to get under the car yet and check the sensor and ring.

But isn't that the sensor that drives the speedo on a multiplexed 206? As my speedo has been fine, didnt do anything when the fault came up, I did clear it and within a couple of hundred yards of going down the road it did come back up.

Any suggestions? Only other thing I can think of is would a bit of dirt on the sensor cause any issues? As the night previous I did do a fair few miles down a lot of back roads that were covered in crap and the state on the car after them is unbelievable. So could have got a bit of dirt flicked up on to the sensor.

Shut it u stupid little f**k, what's the point in posting in all my treads being such a c***? Least I can afford a gti180, and to get the cam belt done!

So apparently everyone knows my financial situation? If I wanted a 180 I would have bought a 180 simples Smile

Unless you were up to the wings on dirt, it's hard for the sensors to get dirty. You could check the ring, more than likely sensor failure, or faulty wiring. Good job you got PP to check.

When I had the 180 one of the wires broke that went to the ABS sensor, the sensor was always reading 1000MPH or similar lol
