My back end of the car is sliding out big time but only when i turn right, the back end slides left.its like powering down on a rear wheel car!!
needs to be sorted before i ahave a accident!! i even spun the car on a roundabout!
I have also notice the car is sat at a slant passenger side down.
I thought it was crap rear tyres but have changed with front( better make) and still does it.also when i take off the handbrake on a hill it feels like only the drivers side drops before moving off and also seems like its only the passenger side locks on when i pull the handbrake driving along but havent tested this with wheel in air yet.not sure if this is anything to do with it.
Not sure on the rear suspension set up or anything on the 206 so any help will be much helpful before i kill my self or even worse someone else!!

Easiest thing is to buy a refurbished axle, find a company that will offer a surcharge refund on return of your old axle. If you have the tools/knowledge to do it yourself, its not the most difficult task to complete. I think it's either 2 or 4 bolts that holds it in. Just need to undo the exhaust, brake lines and handbrake cables first.

With the slant that's why I'm saying shocks or maybe Damaged torsion bar.

Slant on the wheel? No

But the 'whole' car slanting, yes.

Check for play in the axle bearings before you replace it btw

Bearings.....

Jack the car up so the rear wheel is off the ground and just tug on the wheel eg

6 o clock ( 12 + 6 ) and quarter past 9 ( 3 + 9 )

Broken spring at front maybe?

I've just rebuilt my rear axle. I replaced the bearings myself for £40.
It's no easy job but I wasn't paying £200 for a new axle.
