Is that a knock-off version of a Griffiths quick shift? Confused

Cutting 1" off the standard gear lever will reduce throw and speed-up the gear change - and is significantly cheaper.

'no' is my answer Wink

Yes as I have one along with group N gear linkages makes it a good solid gear change.

My god obviously you've always had a half decent car.
Some of the sheds I've had the pleasure to drive in my time. My 206 is far from the worst I have ever used.

However, regards quickshifts. If it works as well on the 206 as it did my old 205 and 306 I think they are great.

nothing wrong with a 206 gearbox.

Nissan Cabstar with the back to front gearchange is the worse one I've driven so far but it's closely followed by the 306 GTI 6.

I'd have to agree with the Cabstar! Never driven a GTI-6 though, what was bad about it? Seem to remember good reviews from major magazines regarding the gearchange? I could be wrong though.

With all respect, anyone who votes 'no' to a Griffiths quickshift, has obviously never used or fitted one properly.
By far the best thing we did to our 206's.

When the question is 'would you fit', then 'no' is a perfectly good answer.

You can always ask for some help if you are unsure about fitting it.
It does take a couple of goes to get it just-right though.

Sorry to hear you got rid of your 206.

I wasn't sorry, you don't need to be either. Shame it wasn't fitted with a quick shift though, maybe it would have shifted quicker than it did (off my drive) Very Happy
