I'm looking to do an oil change on my 1.4hdi.

The issue is I can't find an answer to the oil needed.

My handbook says to NEVER use 5:40, and only use 5:30.

Most of my research says to use 5:40 though.

5:40 is £10 for 4L (castrol) in asda at the moment.
5:30 is £34 for 5L of budget.

I know I will need about 5L, so if I buy 2 bottles, I'll have plenty spare.

Which oil type should I use then?

You can find it,when you read your cars VIN,while reading it,you will read (8HZ),or you can PM me your VIN number, and i will tell you for sure what it's
