DSCN4810 by Cally95, on Flickr
Okay, so I passed my test at the tail end of November, bought my car which is a Blue 53 Plate 1.1 206 LX, and now its time to make it my own. Its pretty much stock, however needs a bit of work to get it to the standard where Ill be happy with it. There are a few mechanical problems at the minute which are in the process of getting sorted, such as a clog in the fuel system causing the engine to lose power and misfire in the chamber now and again (this also causes the EML to be on constantly).
The list of modifications to the car which will be marked off once completed.
My To-Do List:
205 1.9 GTI Alloys[x]
Lower car by 40mm all round[ ]
206 GTI/RC 180 interior[ ]
Performance Exhaust System / Cat-back / Backbox[ ]
206 GTI Front Bumper (w/ Fogs)[ ]
Upgraded Side and Headlight Bulbs[ ]
These are the main Modifications that I would like to be done to the car before July this year.
If anyone has any recommendations on what parts to use or how to do any of these listed above, (Or any suggestions what you think I should do in general) please suggest with a link attached! Waiting for my camera to come so I can post a newer pic with the wheels that are now on.

Ill try to update at least once a week,

Don't believe an induction kit will do anything but use more fuel and make some noise on a 1.1??

Those red 1.9 alloys will look terrible on your car (IMO) But each to their own of course.
Tolkienfan001 is right about the induction kit.
The rest of your to do list sounds great.
Good luck, keep posting pics.

Red alloys will be fine as long as you add more red to other parts. But it's all down to opinion. Everyone loves the red in my car

Okay, In my first opinion of the wheels when I got them - I didnt like them, When I seen them on the car however, it was a different story, Ill get a pic up, and once you have seen it, feel free to voice your opinion. I had my suspicions about the induction kit, but I got it free - however Ill leave it out.
Lex206 - I know, but the gti interior is nearly just as cheap as a standard one, so why not spend a extra £20 on luxury? And as ill be keeping the car for a while a set of fogs will come in handy where I live. And it adds to the look.
Cheers meady, I was planning to get them done Anthracite, but im leaving them red at this moment in time.
Also, when I get around to lowering it (March/April time) what should I use to lower it? Springs and the torsion bar or Coilovers? I reckon im only going to drop it by 40mm.

I was looking at nimrods bully, and I had my heart set on getting some, but there was just something more unique about the 1.9 gtis (nevermind being red)
