Finally got the speedo working on my 206 hdi
But not sure the speedo is correctly showing right speed
Can someone tell me what rev's they are doing in the following examples
4th 30
4th 40
5th 70
Thanks

No point someone else doing it as it will depend on their revs.
If you have something with GPS like a sat nav or iphone, set that up and compare your speed on the dash to the speed displayed on the device.
Another option is to get a friend to follow you at a constant distance and compare the speeds that both cars are showing. Not as accurate as the GPS method, but more accurate than someone saying they are doing 72 in 5th and 53 in 4th.

First post corrected as I meant revs not speed
I've done GPS on phone and speedo is under reading
I'm running 195 50 15's. bit would have thought it would
Make much difference to speedo compared to standard

How much is it under reading by? The GPS will be more accurate then the speedo and speedos are designed to under read, possibly by as much as 10%

I would have expected it to be the other way round speedo 30mph GPS 27mph. Stops the speeding tickets.
At least now someone can compare their speedo to a GPS and see if it's similar results to put your mind at ease.
