I bought one of the below ( linked ) as my car did not have a stereo.
Connected it all up and all it does is accepts a CD and Ejects when i press the button.

Scart type cables cannected up but what looks like the silver RF connecter - this does not wanna plug in, not even by forcing.

No sound, nothing, nada, I dont know if it needs a code or anything.

Any ideas would be much appreciated

No idea as there are two electrical systems on a 206.

Did you get the right unit for your electrical system? The picture looks the same as mine which is plexed (post October 2001), don't know if that unit came in a pre-plex.
If it's plexed, the unit needs coding to the BSI using Peugeot Planet to make it work.
If pre-plexed, it should have a code which you enter on the unit.

The scart cable is used for TVs. You have connected the ISO leads.

So apparently everyone knows my financial situation? If I wanted a 180 I would have bought a 180 simples Smile

Just taken one out of the daughter's CC and fitted a Sony from Halfords ... much better. Has CD, USB and Aux inputs.
Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.
