The car wont start and has the following symptoms - oh and its a 54, gti 180
Turns over but wont start
Wont jump or bump start
Remote locking, stereo and headlights not working
Interior light, windows operate as normal
It is low on fuel but says few miles to refill
Also had slipping aux belt recently so suspecting battery
Any ideas on how to get it going?
Thanks Liam

Hmmm you jump started it recently?
You need to have a look on a laptop to see if the ecu/bsi is unlocking and whether the cam and crank are syncd

Cheers mate seems likely as everything that runs through bsi such as locks, windscreen wipers and headlights are not working

Also check your bsi fuses, one could have blown causing non start. Common thing ive found with multiplex and enthusiastic people who touch s**t

Won't be the battery if it continues to turn the engine over in a healthy manner.
