Hello, this has happened twice now after heavy rain, my passenger foot well is wet with a little flood. Its in the middle of the carpet, around the sides are dry, the underlay under the carpet is a bit damp not wet, probably bcoz of the water soaked through, the sponge part is all dry tho. So a bit confusing how this is coming in. Really wanna fix this. Its one thing I really hate water coming in the car.
Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks

I think it could be the door membrane too. Mine leaked here and the carpet was only wet in the middle. The carpet is plastic underneath so any water would run into the footwell and it wouldn't take long for the side to dry out. Take your door card off and check the sheet underneath for tears or if its unsticking.
