Hells bells, I am quite new to these forums and was interested in the thread title as mine could need doing.

Didn't expect to have to read through all this childish bantering..

On topic, I have been quoted £400c from a Pug franchise and £500 from my local garage.

£370.00 Pug 1 off in Northamptonshire

Shut it u stupid little f**k, what's the point in posting in all my treads being such a c***? Least I can afford a gti180, and to get the cam belt done!

Shame you can't afford to put an "h" in threads....

Anyway, I can afford a 180, can I join your cool, non-peasant club? And I afforded it six years ago when it cost me £7500. Now who's the peasant?

Dilligaf? 7 years ago I was still dressing up in leather and putting the engine between my legs for my fun. It's always funny seeing toys fly out of prams & thought it might make a few others newer to the forum chuckle too, so just call me the Necromancer if you will! Razz

(Plus still like to put it out there that a half decent, read-: not totally trashed, 180 can still be had for peanuts if you're willing to put in the hours searching and collecting from afar)

Kurtis' is still the funniest thread I've ever seen though, and that includes much hilarity back when I was on the VW Caddy and Toyota Supra forums too. He just takes the biscuit, makes it white 'n' soggy, and eats it too... Probably crapped it out and ate it again just for good measure.

DILLIGAF - excellent when performed live with the audience, saw Kevin Bloody Wilson last year on his UK tour - his daughter Jenny Talia from Australia was the warm up act.
I wear my F.O.C.U.S. cap at work, got my missus the F.I.S.H.M.O. cap.

As for funniest threads I've seen on forums ( other then this forum ) here's 2 i remember with fondness.

1) The idiot with the 207 that removed the front springs, drove the car for a short while then took it to Peugeot main agent who declared it a total loss due to the damage caused to the body shell - there where pictures of the damage.

2) The idiot on a forum that managed to destroy a Nissan Skyline on a perfect straight bit of road & blamed the cold weather.
One of the other forum member even did a POV video reconstruction of the accident involving an iceberg & polar bear - one of the funniest flash videos I've seen on the internet.

Toyota C-HR GR Sport 2.0 Hybrid with JBL & Alcantara packs.

Oh my, you've just reminded me of another one to rival Kuntis. (may even have been the man himself) Can't recall the forum but I do remember the username "policedriver"... A Corsa boy who recommends that everyone (regardless of tyre size/vehicle weight or any other factor) should run 40psi tyre pressures "for less tyre slouch and better contact with the road" & same also suggests if you want to wring a little extra speed out of your motor, just fold the rear seats down since it makes the car lighter...

Then there's the guy on the Yamaha XJ750 forum who "lightened" his crankshaft with a hand drill, drilled out multiple deep holes in each web to "match" the factory machined balancing holes (as well as drilling those loads deeper because "they left loads of excess meat there". Not quite as hilarious, but he did well and truly spit the dummy when called out on his engineering prowess.
