Fitting my lowered front springs and have done the drivers side all good and sorted now the passenger side I've been told that its best to undo the shaft nut as ill loose gearbox oil :/ where's the filling hole and best type of gear oil to put in also is there a way that I can drop the shock without loosing oil from the passenger side??

Not sure why you'd want to remove the driveshaft nut. A lot easier to just top the oil up than to loosen the shaft. Loosening the shaft doesn't guarantee oil won't come out of the gearbox anyway.
You need a 75/80 oil. There are a few "how to's" on here so just do a search.
