Lift the bottom of the rear seat on the drivers side and check the plastic seal on the fuel pump is tight.

Shut it u stupid little f**k, what's the point in posting in all my treads being such a c***? Least I can afford a gti180, and to get the cam belt done!

So apparently everyone knows my financial situation? If I wanted a 180 I would have bought a 180 simples Smile

The plastic seal doesn't do anything anyway mine is only on loose as some plank broke it. Take it off and check the pump itself for leakage.

Wouldn't have thought the filler pipe was leaking but its worth a check as well. Check the injectors and rail for leakage as well, if its bad enough fumes could be working their way into the cabin.

Well when you have the smell after refill, then I believe it's related with fuel pump,I had the same problem, and the fix was by buying a new seal (it's silicon made),you can buy a new one,and fit it,and your problem will be solved Smile

Thanks guys...when i put the blowers on its worse for a second or two then better?

I know these pumps actualy and there a right b***h to loosen off from on top of the tank ...but i will see what i can do....as for the tank access hole cover im sure mine is quite loose so i will try to get some sticky back foam strip and some good tape and try and make a seal on the thing...if i cant see anything else at fault that is.
