Hi, Thought it was about time i got my exhaust manifold sorted out (rattle), car is a 2003 206 gti 136bhp. Looked all over for an aftermarket manifold but not found anything, the maniflow and supersprint are out my price range and not botherd about the ebay one.
So thought i would go for the 180 manifold, What exactly will i need to fit this?
Will it fit on to my standard mid section?
Is the diameter of exhaust different?
Do i need to change gear linkage for a cable type?
They were some of the things i read but just looking for a clear answer.
Thanks.

Be far easier to just fire up the welder & repair your original manifold.
Welding the 4 tubes together inside the collector was the official Peugeot warranty fix.

I've been told yes, so giving it ago as i need to swap my engine mounts at the same time. You basicaly take the weight of the engine with a jack, then undo the mounts then rock the engine forward enough so you can remove and replace the manifold. After that go back under the car and connect the exhaust back up. Sounds simple but i doubt it will be haha

Yes you can get the manifold out in situ, did my old gti last year.
As suggested slacken the upper eng mount and rock the engine forward, you can just wriggle the manifold out.

Depends how they come out mate. Some of my nuts were locked onto the studs so pulled the studs out. I'll be fitting new ones where I can. Only 3 studs stayed in the head.
