1.4 automatic 03.
cambelt went about 2 months ago so I've had a reconditioned engine put in..then found out gearbox had gone because of the oil pump so the garage put in a BRAND new automatic gearbox..
Ecu redone to work with the new gearbox by Peugeot

why the heck do i drive fine for ages using all gears and runs quick.. then it gets loss of power and it only uses 3 gears?! sport and winter lights dont flash... or no engine stop light..

I've had the ecu read by Peugeot and they said there is nothing on either ecu par a esp fault? even though i don't have it?

Pulls away slow but when its at 50/60 its okay but stuck in 3rd doing 4k revs?

I am really getting annoyed with it now and would just like it fixed -.- any idea's as the people who made the freekin car dont even know.

Angry rant over.

help please -.-

Off topic I know, but why did you spend so much on an automatic?!

Hi James 206.52 I sympathise with you, In my experiences when visiting Peugeot, even the basic of stuff you enquire about, parts etc, its always annoying you never get a straight answer to stuff, or it becomes too complicated.
How the hell do they repair cars in the workshop, tell the customer they cannot repair it because they don.t know how to fix it (don,t think so)

hi sounds like the auto box needs the band adjusting in the gear box had this happen on a honda crv auto box after a service it would get stuck in upshifts a few years ago the garage told us it was due to a slight blockage in the casing feeders
get them to road test it hope this helps
