Ordered deal kit for all 4 , the plan was to just the place the ones that need doing. If there is no signs of leaking i will just replace all 4.

Not really sure, is a black tar that builds up around the leak.

Got it all done today , its a pig of a job to do and cleaning all the back carbon off. The one that was leaking was well seized in, and replaced seals in all 4.
On putting it all back i could not get the back of the rocker cover to sit low enough for the 2 rear bolts; so just used the top 8 bolts.
Car runs better now and only sounds like a taxi now.lol

Success...but i would try checkin the tightness of all your ancillarys and piping because on your vid the front two pipes in front of the engine seemed to move around a lot and so might be others..all createing extra noises around the engine...

Think its just the rattle nature of the 1.4 hdi engine.
