Over 90 the abs & esr/asr faults flash up on the mfd - only over that speed for some reason, then they go off after a while after i've turned the ignition off.
Whereabouts is the sensor? Someone mentioned its a magnetic sensor inside the wheel bearing but other places say its a ring on the driveshaft?
I could do the driveshaft myself but not the wheel bearing.
Can anyone confirm which one it is please?
cheers

If it's intermittent and only coming on at certain speeds, it will be the toothed ring on the driveshaft.
I've got a brand new one here. Drop me a message if you need it.

I've got to arrange my MOT for the 4th July which i'm on holiday but will need to buy a radiator (i've been saying that for 6 months now!!) so unless its on permanently i'll wait til its passed.
If you haven't sold it by middle of July I'll contact you
Thank you

The rings when they crack (split) can damage the sensor as it did on mine because i didn't attend to it straight away.
As a precaution i would check the rings now, if there is one gone i would remove the sensor, then put back on when you get round to fixing the ring.
The rings obviously enlarge when they split and ware away the sensor.

You can get the rings on there own off ebay for about £5-10 each, easy to fit with some patience. Google a company called J&R cv joints, they sell them seperatally as well, or will sell you a complete cv joint with new ring for under £20 delivered, when buying the rings check the size first though as some are 80mm, some are 86mm and others 90mm

Whereabouts is the ring? Can I see it from underneath the car?

It sits around the driveshafts just behind the hubs.
