Hi gang!
Have just bought a 2001 1.1 LX and have come across a couple of problems.
1. When I'm driving between 50-70, the steering wheel is vibrating a lot. I have heard that may be due to wheel balancing, so I have just had the front two wheels balanced but the problem still remains.
2. When in 5th gear, there seems to be like a high-pitch noise coming from the gearbox, not in any other gear, just 5th. I've had a lot of Peugeots and they all make the same noise but in 2nd or 3rd.
Any ideas most welcome.

well for the first problem,you might have bad tires,or bad disks,and for the second problem,you have a faulty toothed gear,which is the 5th in your case.
