OBDII DTC - no codes? airbag light on?
I plugged in a U480 Universal OBD2 CAN BUS Fault Code Scanner and it said "NO CODES!"?
Can this be true as my airbag/seatbelt warning light is ON?
The seatbelts/airbags have never been activated whilst I have had the vehicle (don't know about previous owners, who reported the vehicle as stolen and recovered with keys?).
The ECU has the familiar breakers/scrapyards marker pen on it, so this could have been replaced in the past?
The warning light has been on all the time I've had the vehicle (4 years), but the MOT rules have changed and now they are saying this must be working correctly!
Cheers!

Cheap code readers only do engine management systems. The airbag faults are stored on a different ecu, oddly the airbag ecu
