This is the most common question asked on this forum.
Of course it will fit, it's still a 206 after all. You just need engine, gearbox, subframe, gear linkage, hubs, drive shafts, exhaust, PAS pipes...ECU...all the wiring...

The real answer is yes it fits but why struggle with doing it and affording it when you may as well just buy a gti...and dont think you can avoid the insurance prices because as soon as u get a problem u will be discovered and in deep doodie then..

'modified to f***'
In all honesty it really isn't worth it for the small bhp increase. A decent setup cammed XSI will see the same power anyway and be a hell of a lot easier.

But the 1.6 will never compete on torque though.

Is there any reason you can't just rebuild the engine? would this not be a better option?

Unless the GTI is going to be modified, I still don't think it's worth the hassle.

It wasn't worth doing engine conversions on 206's 5 years ago, nothing's changed.

A 180 conversion on a 206 SW Si could be nice.

Thermostat housing £100
Auto electrician and wiring components £450
Radtec radiator and fan £500
