Hey, everyone. Basically, I'm trying to make a few tweaks to my pug to make her look a bit more sporty. I don't want no pimped up bodywork or any of that ricer crap, just a smart looking 206. I've hit good ol' photoshop tonight in an attempt to see what I'm going to do with the car and thought I'd mention it all here prior to doing any of it in person. Most people like their creations, but it's appalling if no one else does!

First of all, here's what my car actually looks like right now.

The car is mint. Like you'd imagine it would come new, honestly. Low miles, paint work is immaculate. Real proud owner of this car. I fully stripped it down on the inside to make sure I got the car proper mint. Only the best for what could (and won't) be a show room pug.

As you can see... I didn't miss a spot! Had the door panels off, the lot! proper job! Had the seats out, carpet out, the lot! all water washed and properly dried (water vacuum, etc so not left to stink)

So now, here is one of my role models for the design of my peugeot.

and another.. (propps to MattyP on a gorgeous car!)

I'm not planning on making my peugeot black so it would be a silver variant of those two cars. I don't think I'd so as much as MattyP and go with a mesh grill, etc. Looks mean on a black car but would look a knob on my silver, lol.

I think these cars gorgeous, well, you know what I mean! It's as good as I feel a peugeot 206 can be! For the change for my car to do that I would require
1) GTi Spoiler
2) Vortex wheels (pref 17")
3) lowering
4) colour coordinated trim
5) wrap wing mirrors (vinyl wrap the silver part black)
6) sound system improved (done)
7) rebuild and replace parts of engine (done)
I've already had words on the trim so I know how to sort that. I'm wondering

I've already went ahead and sorted the engine. The car had been sitting awhile so I changed belts, also took my time to strip the head and see what's what in there. Didn't really need to change anything other than belts, etc. Usual stuff. Put all OEM peugeot parts in to keep the car nice and standard. I'll have her in for a MOT at peugeot in London as well soon. Got free MOT's there (sorted!) so may as well see what they think of it too!

Sound system has been sorted as well! Got a Rockford Fosgate system in. Door panel speakers and sides in the rear have been changed. Both now capable of decent highs and lows. Also capping three 12" subs in the boot. There goes the boot, lol. Who needs shopping anyway? I will live off motor oil and bass.

Here is what I'd want my final product to be like. Poor photoshop attempt if I do say so myself! one of them quick 5 minute jobs. Was unable to recolour the trim silver as I'm not too good around the colour black.

First thing I want to do is with the side windows.. I don't want to tint them out as much as in the photo, probably not at all to be honest! May slightly tint to about 20% and possibly 40% on the rear.. Something legal, anyway. That's not what I want to discuss, though. Later topic I imagine:) If you look at your peugeots doors you'll notice by the vinyl trim on the door and the rear window there's a bit of silver (or whatever colour your car is showing). I want to vinyl that up. Do you guys think It'll look nice? Just means it'll be an even flow like in the photo you see above.

second on my list is GTi spoiler. I think this is personal preference. What do you guys think? Personally, I don't think it's over the top! still a pretty small spoiler and gives the car a real sporty look!:)

next is the vortex wheels, yes, no? I know they do 15" and 17" I will want the 17" wheels. I would also then lower the car down to the level of them wheels (like shown above) so that the arches go around the tyres. What's everyones thoughts on this? I personally think the peugeots are too high and that all cars should have their arches going perfectly around the tyre walls.

now, for the wing mirrors. Do you think I should wrap the top silver bit? I'm not too fond on the black part of the mirrors, I want either silver, or black, and black is easier to do, lol!

how about my lights? should I keep the rear red and the front normal, or tint them off? The red really does annoy me, don't like it on any car unless it's red! I may consider getting a see through box but I'm not sure if that'll look any good? once again, I can vinyl tint these so it's easy removal if I don't like it.

final piece, trim? silver, or black? I'm actually starting to like the black trim as in my picture. Would look nice with black mirrors, darker windows and just makes the car look a bit meaner. On the other hand, silver would make the car look less dated.

plus, if anyone thinks there's something I can add to make this car look any nicer, feel free to mention!

cheers in advance to everyone who posts.

Glad you like it. What's your thoughts on the trim? silver or keep as they are? I'm not sure! both look good! So far is how I'm going to have it until others tell me otherwise!

Tomorrow I finish the stereo system and throw on a GTi badge for the kicks. I'm 18, so It's like, the law to do so! Already got myself some GTi carpets as well, haha! slowly throwing GTi all over the place in a smart manner. Will show off the mats when they're in the car:)

Was bidding on a set of 17" vortexs! lost the bid, they went at 105£ =\ ouch! wish I had them beauties! even if I couldn't get them on the car due to insurance prices for a month or so, it's worth putting them in the garage at that price, haha!

Your looks in very good condition mate! Not sure on that black 206 though Wink

In my opinion i think you should do the following
- colour code the door trims
- sport wings & front bumper
- gti 180 rear bumper
-sp arches
- keep the wing mirrors as they are

Glad someone agrees on the door trims! I'll have to get around to doing it:) I may buy a second set of trim to have a go on. It's only cheap stuff so may as well not drive around looking a pratt if I c**k it up, lol.

I've already got a GTi 180 rear bumper, also my wings are also the same as a GTi. I'm not sure if they've been changed in their life or what but the bodywork looks identical to a GTi as far as my untrained eyes can see.

Looking for the sports wing for the rear. Would prefer to find one in the colour straight away but if I can get one cheap I wouldn't mind getting it painted:)

It looks nice mate, although I'd probably invest in a set of rear lights and not paint them!

I got some beauty phase 2's though! I wasn't thinking of painting but tinting them using vinyl:) so I can always rip it back off later on in life.
