Has anyone had a 206 which runs rough when it gets warm and then just stops?
I can leave it overnight and then it starts first turn of the key in the morning.
It's driving me nuts. Its a 206 hdi 1.6.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please feel free to upload one of the correct dimensions.

The only thing I know that can literally stop a HDI engine is a problem with the rail pressure (so sensor/regulator fault). This would almost 100% turn on the engine light. If you have no engine light I have no idea

Crank position sensor breaking down when hot. Not sure if that is a common problem on these but it is on many, many makes of car both petrol and diesel. That would be my starting point but, as other posts above, I would expect a fault code.
