hi.

hope someone can help. I am trying to remove rear seats. On the 2/3 backrest when undoing last bolt. it has come halfway out and now all it does is just spin. Any advice on how to remove it?

They bolt through the floor so more than likely rust has eaten away the threads. Apply force upwards while turning, I'll pop out.

I have tried wedging it with a screwdriver and claw end of hammer. But makes no difference it just keeps spinning. I have got every other bolt out apart from this one. Its the one at the back of the seat inn the boot.

You could cut the top off, cut a slot across the stub and screw it out from the bottom. Then get a new one from scrappers.

If you screw it back in can you get to the rusted part of the bolt from below and cut that off and then undo the bolt as normal from above?
