Hi any body got idea my car was fine then as I went round a bend puttin car into second gear it started sounding like it was missfireing with a pop comeing from exhaust the engine seems to be running fine but unsure wot the problem iis I've only had car 4 weeks an not very happy lol anybody got any ideas thanks pug people

Please answer the following first?
Supporting most of the above questions and a few more.
We're you ragging it hard at the time? Over revved it changing down? What service history do you have? Any recent work done to the car? Is it still misfiring now? Was the car particularly low on fuel? When was it last serviced ad what work was done? Have you had or can you get the fault codes checked? Do you ave an exhaust leak, put a rag over the end and get a mate to check under the car and in the engine compartment, the blocked exhaust will force gases out of any small leak and highlight it - modern cars behave badly if they have exhaust leaks.
Can you work on the car yourself? If you can and it is still misfiring it might be worth removing the plugs and checking that they are all in good condition, a good colour and all the same colour.

Just watin for new exhaust and one of ht leads had been bodjed on by some idiot befour I baught car but need some parts need compleat ht leads and exhaust first pug I've had only worked on basics thankyou people

Petrol 206's never had HT lead's fitted.
