Hello
I have just replaced cambelt, tensioner and water pump on my 206GTi (2003). On filling the coolant tank, it is escaping from where the coolant pipe enters the coolant pump housing. I put the new O ring on the pipe prior to inserting into the pump. It seem as though the pipe (think it is metal) enters at an angle but can't seem to move it insitu. Anyone know if the pipe can be unattached from block (cant see a bracket) and inserted again etc...

It's difficult to remove. Needs to be pulled out of the thermostat housing first before it can be pulled out of the pump. Wear gloves to avoid injuring your hands as it will come out suddenly.

I found it easier to take it out still attached to the thermostat, as said though there is not much room, and it will suddenly give!
