hi all
I just got a 206 s 1.4 - 04 reg a couple of weeks ago, yesterday i stopped and opened the door and the display said as usual - left door open - then my wife shut the door and the display stuck on - door open, the radio froze couldnt turn it over and a loud alarm sound started beeping, louder than the usual door open sound, this carried on even after i turned the car ignition off.
i opened all the doors and closed them this never done anything, i locked the doors and reopened them and after approx 1 minute the radio started working and the alarm and display stopped.
can anyone help me with this one
car has done only 35000 miles

That loud bleeping is what you hear when you fit a standard radio that is not vin coded correctly, however I don't think that this is the case. It sounds more like a glitch / communication error. How is the battery life? Do you get any other strange occurrences electrical wise mainly when starting the engine?
Try rebooting the BSI by following the instructions in one of the Stickys if it happens again.

have you checked the battery in the keyfob mine was making alsorts of things happen
