I have no idea if that's right or not but, do you have a floor mat?
That might rob you of 5-10%, just a thought.

This may also help you:

No mate. The pedal is hitting the stop. I do know minis suffer with this as a restriction from the dealer. A remap opens them to 100%

Remove the air intake and see what is actually happening.

I have. It looks to be fully open. Could the 80 be degrees?

If the ecu only opens it 80% surely it won't be running as much power. Can any other 180 owners check theirs?

Will the extra 20% actually make any difference though? Maybe the TB isn't restrictive at all even at 80% open.

I just wonder if the fuelling would change. If the ecu is seeing 80% and wonder if 100% would make it put more fuel in making more power

Is this 80% reading taken when the car isn't moving OR when driving along?

I reckon the engine is swallowing as much air as it can even at 80% open. Therefore the throttle body isn't restrictive at all.

The issue appears to be that the 80% shown with PP relates to an actual 100% and I think the question will be:-

Is this how ALL of this model engine management system is set up or is there a problem with this one?

If it is correct that they are all like this I would then want to know why but that is another question completely.
