I went down to see jim yeaterday but the 180 manifold I bought wont be here till tuesday so there is not much that can be done for the time being although he does have 2 or 3 2.0l 8v turbo engines lying around. Quite tempted to just fit one of them for the time being while I build up the 16v gti engine and maybe get it done to a better standard with a full engine rebuild with low comp pistons, bit head work and a bigger turbo for more power. Just so many options!!!

Can anyone tell me how easy/hard it is to remove the dash from a 206?

Well i had a nice 10 hour night shift last night and got to bed around 9.30 only to have the postman banging on my door at 1pm this afternoon waking me up then i couldnt get bac to sleep! but i suppose i cant complain... untill i start work at 11pm again tonight. He brought me some shiny bits for the 206 B) The kits starting to build up bit by bit. Also digging around in my utility/parts room to find a braided brake like kit i bought last Christmas for my gti6 track car when i was planning on getting rid of the ABS. Might fit it to the 206 when i come to fit the turbo parts but then that would mean pulling the interior out as new brake lines would run inside the car with a compbrake bias valve. Anyway here is what turned up today and the brake lines i dug out.

GTi180 manifold arrived today so next week i can make a start on the turbo manifold Very Happy Also came with it was a GTi180 engine cover... what doesnt fit at the minute, the engine lift hook is in the way whats not a problem and also is the throttle cable what shouldnt be there for much longer as i hopefuly plan to have a custom inlet fabricated for the turbo conversion.
Also my Bailey Dump valve arrived yesterday along with an adjustable fuel pressure reg.

Next:

Walbro 225 high pressure fuel pump
440cc OR 660cc injectors
Slim line fans
Ramair induction kit
Turbo oil feed
Braided fuel lines
Oil cooler
Air fuel ratio gauge

Think thats about it for the time being and then should hopefully have everything ready to fit and fingers crossed get running

No will need the loom modified to fit mate. Its not permanent, its just to get it up and running till I get an omex or a vems.

nice, don't forget share the wiring to mix with standard loom, I believe the 406 8V ECU need to be unlock?

Another thing, will you use standard internal or head spacer, like decompression plate or you will use forged piston and rod?

EW10 from 407 turbo in my country uses standard internal boosting 150Nm to 240Nm with boost 2.76psi only RON 95 , HP gain 40+ on wheel

Manifold is pretty easy to do. Mix a 180 manifold and a 306 gti6 manifold, there are a couple of different ways to do it.
internals will be standard with 2 head gaskets and a 1mm decomp plate what should drop me down to 8:1 compression. I dont plan to run any more than a bar of boost to start with, I will just see how things torn out then I can tweek it till I get the best from the engine.

Sorry ask a lot, very interested like im the one running this project
the decompression plate also will be 1mm custom made + original peugeot metal gasket as far i understand,usually seing people buy from dp engineering

2 head gaskets and a 1mm plate will c**k up the cam timing nicely. You'll need vernier pulleys too.
2001 GTi 138, Bilstein Sprint dampers, H&R springs, 21mm Peugeot Sport torsion bars, 22mm rear ARB, Peugeot Sport Group A wishbones, 283mm discs, Goodridge stainless hoses, Maniflow 304 grade 4-2-1 2.5" manifold and system, 200 cell cat, Richard Longman head, 45mm Jenvey throttle bodies, 9.5mm TB spacers, 90mm air horns, Jenvey throttle linkage, Jenvey fuel rail, Aeromotive and Goodridge fuel fittings and braided hose, ITG sausage filter, Radtec custom radiator, Piper Ultimate Road cams, Piper vernier pulleys, Omex 600 ECU. Saxo electric PAS pump, Vibra Technics engine mounts. Samco coolant hoses, TTV steel flywheel, 4.76 final drive ratio, 307 CC 180 ratios. 2019 BMW 530i. 2017 Mercedes C300 convertible.

I have been trying to find out info on the gti180 cam pullys as I hear they have VVT and would they work on my gti 138 cams?
other option is to see if I can find a thicker head gasket or fit 8v sri or 306 xsi pistons.

just sorted an oil cooler with thermostate sandwich plate

hmm year 99 206 did have adjustable pulley mate may use that one?

Just get some aftermarket pulleys.
