Hi,

Odd one this.

This does not happen all the time.

The car idles fine all the time.

The car will on occasion start chugging when at idle but the engine idle is fine and does not move, the car drives fine all the time this only happens at idle.

Ive checked the fuelling and renewed the following sensors in a hope it was one of them.

coolant, map and o2. ive also cleaned the throttle etc etc.

Please can some one point me in the right direction...

why wont you work??????????????????? ARGH F**k it!!!!!

Interesting this one, has my car shakes when started from cold on idle , yet it runs fine once on the move. I have also renewed the 02 sensors, cleaned throttle, renewed the cat, i have noticed a very slight leak on the exhaust, so not sure if that would cause it, has it only leaks slightly. My next call was the coil pack.

Hi,

It does weather car is hot or cold. Forgot to say I've also changed coil pack (correct one).

I guess it could be the exhaust but why would it do it only say 3/4 times every trip and not all the time ????

It's been happening for approx 4 weeks now and has me well and truly beat.

why wont you work??????????????????? ARGH F**k it!!!!!

I no u said that there are no fault lights showing on dash, but have u put a code reader on it to see if there are any fault codes showing, and if some are showing clear them off and see if they re-show.Take a note if any show tho.

Ebay item 320773110292
I brought this one, very easy to use, comes with full instructions and a book telling you what all the fault codes are.

Well i have fixed my exhaust leak today, it was only leaking very slightly ,but the fault light has now gone out and the car seems ok at moment.
I put code reader on and codes po130 which is 02 sensor pre cat and code po300 random multiple cylinder misfire showed.
I have now cleared them, lets hope they dont come back.
