can anbody help me,i have just about found the leak but as the manifold is now of the 180,im still not sure where it coming from it seems to be coming from the top of the oil cooler exchanger..above oil filter, looking on service box i think i need the rubber seal which the exchanger has on top of it...but can i tighten it a tad more with a oil filter wrench..rather than removing it to replace the seal ..can anybody help ?..has anybody had the same problem...cheers all

Hi mate. Hi had the seal your talking of changed for the same reson last year. It seams that it has once again started to leak very slowly.

Well fitted new seal from pug which was £5.65 plus vat,i took off oil filter then removed the threaded shaft which hold the oil cooler and removed the old seal which some how had twisted out of shape which must have caused the leak...put a small amount of oil on the new seal and refitted and all is well.. Spoke to a pug mechanic and he said to always use pug oil and give the car time to cool down after a run as letting it cook and switching straight off causes the seal to go brittle and over time let oil pass through...did not need to remove inlet manifold either...happy days
