Hiya Guyss! I've been a member quite some time now since I had my old Silver 1.4 206. I'd always wanted a 180 so upgraded last year and Its such a brilliant car just love itt!! I've had no problems with it at all due to regularly servicing and not abusing her.
So thought its about time to make a small project thread for things that I've done to the Gti180. For the first 8-9 months I left it exactly how i bought it, then I changing/adding a few things.
I'm VERY new to doing anything on cars really, it's my first time doing anything to cars alone. I'd kind of had to teach myself everything (probably the most active member on here tbh lol)
I haven't done anything major done to the car really I'm starting off small and as learn more things more will be done. The 180 is already tuned up well for performance and there's not a massive amount you can add to improve the performance without spending loads. I want to keep it looking close to standard, I really don't want it looking chavy at all, just smart. Subtle mods.
So this is what the car looked like when I picked it up.
(1 previous owner(girl),60k miles,Full Peugeot service history, Mint condition for £2700)
I started off changing the standard air filter with a K&N Panel filter(no pic sorry)
I then started to buy a few things off ebay.
SP Upper grill
Simple bolt on job
Lower grill
I surprised myself with fitting them without much of a problem, I used the take off the bumper method, getting the actual grill lined up perfectly was a bit awkward.(I'm a proper perfectionist)
I preferred the new style SP badge so swapped it over.
Picture of them fitted:
Cleaned up the manifold:
Before:
After:
Bought some OEM mudflaps from Peugeot. Wasn't sure with them being black on blue but think they look awesome. Might paint them gloss black not sure yet.
Then bought some Peugeot dust caps which look awesome on.
By the way the chronological order of all this is totally messed up lol
Changed my standard headlight to some Xenon Ultra bright white bulbs, also changed my side lights, interior, and number plate bulbs to white LED's.
Some random shots:
Hope you liikee

Oh, forgot. I've got some SP arches I'm in the process of painting due to them have a few scratches. (First time painting)
Will upload pics of the result when I've polished them after the lacquer has cured. May just add the rears though not sure yet.
So this is it for now...

Cheers matey, Yeah I can't stand her looking dirty just makes me cringe.
Ermm, once I've got a bit more moneys
-Janspeed cat back,
-Possibly do the alloys white,
-Take the peugeot text badge off.
-Put my SP arches on.
-cupra r splitter
Probably just leave it at that then
