hello guys .

took the car for rod alignment , read tiers toe were little bit out . but mechanic said the 206 don't have toe adjustment at the back .

first I believed him , but then I said how come there is no adjustment .

so if there is no adjustment , How you guys repair the rear wheel wearing ?

thank you and sorry if the topic is covered already , but search couldn't find any info .

He's right, it's fixed. As is the camber.

Wear on the inside of the tyre could be a sign that the trailing arm bearings are failing.

OK , thanks a lot for your confirmation ,

if possible can you guide me to which part is needed to be replaces ( maybe ebay ling or any online site ) just for reference .

I drive GTI 180 ( we call it 206 RC here in Dubai ) .

It's these bits you need. Those bearings wear but once you get movement in the arm there is a chance the axle pin will be damaged. One side on mine has some marks but has no play in the arm so just think what the axle would look like on one with wear showing.

I'd order a new axle if that's what your problem is.

will have a look at it , i will pass by the dealer to see if i can get the bearings only or I must change the whole axle.

Main dealer for this work will be expensive! still living in Dubai you may be an oil baron with loads of money.

the RC is one of my favorite cars , I drive it at least 3 times a week , it's really good for city drive .

add grease nipples on the rear arms. It will increase lifespan of the roll bearings.
