Hi all.
I have a clicking sound when pressing the brake peddle and it sounds like a relay. also it is happening at a faster beat when heated window switch is pressed.

its a constant on of clicking while useing either, alone or together. sound like its coming from under the steering area. i have removed the cover and and looked around the board under there but can not determine what it is by feeling with hand. while the clicking is happening. ho by the way its a 206 hdi 2.0 se on 54 plate, milage 58000

any help or direction would be greatfull, cheers.

You could try a BSI reset, see if that calms evertthing down.

sounds like a problem i have on and off from what i gather it is related to the heater as mine happens when i start the car and the auto heating on A/C comes on bsi reset sorted it for a few days try switching the A/C to ECO then turning your engine off then restart the car it could be the auto vent system i havent had time to get under my dash yet if i fix mine will update you

thanks lowiee

I can not say i have sorted it but went back out there yesterday and removed the pannel under drivers side, droped down the bsi unit by turning the 2 white retaning lugs. the clicking was then gone, as soon as i put it back up the clicking was back so had a good old wiggle of all the inputs to the bsi and once again put it back up in place, hey presto. done around 50 miles yesterday and its not back yet. solved im not sure, time will tell.

Do you still get the problem if you switch the air condioning system completely off.
