Hi there, i've been facing an obstacle since i washed my car, normally when i wash my car it wont start immediatly after wash it should wait for about 35 to 45 minutes to start normally but last time i washed it it did not start again i bought another used ecu and unlocked it and the engine started normally but as soon as i turn off the engine leaving it for 5 mins and start the engine it didnt start so i unplugged the ecu and reinstalled again the software and plugged it back and the engine ran again normally but same problem happens again when turn off the engine so i have to unplug the battery everytime i turn off the engine so the ecu can work again, what could cause the ecu to loose its software while the engine is off and battery is connected??? And how washing the car could relate to this issue?? The old ecu was also unlocked and used same software but after checking via obd2 pp nothing turned out to be wrong with both ecus and earths are fine, the only thing is that the battery is weak but its able to crank fine several times... any solutions??
