Hi All

Need two replacement wishbones. Have the opportunity to get my hands on a second hand sub frame with wish bones and any roll bar still attached pretty cheap. As the car isnt worth much Im thinking this could be a possible way forward..

How simple is this? Is the much else other that the engine mount, drop links, steering rack and hubs attached to it?

Also, anyone know if the subframes are all the same regardless of engine size?

Cheers in advance!

Far harder than just replacing wish bones! Don't go that route.

Yes, unless there is something definately very wrong with your subframe, no point actually replacing it, just pull the parts off it and fit them to your car.

Actually I wouldn't take the time and effort to change wishbones using second hand parts. Arms aren't hugely expensive and doing it again in 6 months time or sooner because your second hand arm has failed would probably p*** you off! Have another think if this really is the best way forward though it might now be to late pointing this out to you.
