Hi guys

How do i change the front grille to a mesh one?
ive heard you can cut the old one out if you dont want to remove bumper etc. also can it be glued on over the one thats there now

but im not sure on this

it's better to have the bumper off,so you can work it probably :D,i know it's not an easy job,but that is the case Wink

It can be done with the bumper on. It just clips in with several clips. You will shred your hands and arms this way though.

As Timon says remove the bumper. Fairly straightforward job.

What about sticking it over the plastic grill or is it slightly longer and needs to be done from inside?

The plastic one comes off. Where it clips in the new mesh grille will be aligned to the tabs and clips put on to hold it in place.

I tried putting my sp grille in without taking bumper off and the job was rubbish, it's a must to take the bumper off so that you can make it fit right with all the clips,

Trust me cutting corners never pays off. Forget about the glue and do it properly. It will last and look so much better.

Definitely take the bumper off, doesn't take long at all and its a lot easier to install the grill that way by havin loads of access Clicky

Agreed. Take the bumper off. Not the quickest job but fairly easy to do
