Hello, I have a 2003 206 and am currently experiencing a problem with my mfd. Yesterday it suddenly went dark. The bulbs are not working. I put 3 new bulbs in and still nothing. Checked the fuses which are all fine so decided to check if there's any current going through the power bar for the bulbs. There is power running through it so I'm now at a dead end. Can anyone please help me?

Did you put the bulbs in with the power switched on?

MFD has a common problem where the connectors / tracks / pins break over time.

There used to be a thread about repairing them: 206info.co.uk/Forums/v...t=206.html but the images are all dead which is a shame.

I can post a solution to the pins if anyone needs it?

It is a bit... 'hacky', however it works... It bypasses these pins completely and goes straight onto the metal of the bulbs (which is where the pins would end).

Two small cables, quick soldering task and voila.

It works handsomely too, now if only all pixels in my display simply displayed...

The lcd screen and radio both work but bulbs don't come on. Does't make sense to me. I dont want to take it into peugeot as suggested by my mate as the money it will cost wouldn't be worth it.

Thing is there are no breaks. It was working but after it was disconnected and reconnected they stopped working. power is going to the contact points of the board to where the bulb holders connect
