Right then.

Lets give you a little update.

Car is currently in my garage. Sorn, no MOT and uninsured.
I'm now driving a storm grey Clio 200. Which I love.

I'm hoping to turn the Peugeot in to a road legal HDi track car.
I started with getting a weight on the weigh bridge.
With me,hardly any fuel and rear seats.
1120kg

Without me
1040kg

Since then Iv lost around 5kg so I'm 75kg's.
Basically I have got another wiring loom off a Gti 180 (full car loom) and Iv doctored it,
I still have lots of work to do to it. But I have so far removed :

All the airbag wires,modules
All the CD player and speaker wires
All the ABS wires
Electric window wires
Electric mirror wires

All the speakers and tweeters from the car.

It still has all its door cards, ABC plastics roof lining. (Unsure how much to remove of this)
I'm looking at getting some carbon inserts to replace all these.
I have plans to remove all the electric window motors, rear wiper motors
Been looking at a lightweight battery and heater set up to remove the massive unit under the dash.

It's a slow slow project and I don't mind how long it takes me but it's just to keep me busy really.
My aim is to get around 180 bhp per ton and around 400Nm's.
I'm not sure if there is a conversion for torque per ton??

Iv had a little weigh up so far.

With a few things out
Rear seats plus all belts and buckles
Front two door cards
Rear window wiper and motor
Tweeter surrounds and a few wires.

That's 38.5 kg more removed.
There is a lot more I can remove and will do that as I go. Il give you little updates.
It's nice to be at almost a tonne.

I have put some resistors in at the moment with an after market wheel.
With the new loom there won't be any airbag wires, modules or anything along them lines.
Will need to look at PP to see if there is an option to turn it off in the ECU.

Also same thing with the ABS. No wires no pump and hopefully turn it off in the ECU if needed.

When I get chance il get you a picture.
Sometimes on a cold day it still says Airbag fault but 95% of the time it's fine. I guess if I made a proper harness to fit in to the air bag connecter it would stay off all the time.

Hay sim.
